Leonard J. Crowley

Leonard J. Crowley, age 89 of rural Boscobel passed away on Wednesday June 20, 2012 at Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua. He was born on May 27, 1923 in Steuben Wisconsin. The son of William and Mary (Cull) Crowley.

He married Ilene Merriman on August 22, 1987 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. She preceded him in death on February 4 2008.

He is survived by three sisters. Margaret Dremsa Pettra of Boscobel, Mary M. Stuckey of Prairie du Chien, Patricia (Jim) Coorough of Prairie du Chien. A special friend Tim Mastandrea of Boscobel. Several Nieces and Nephews. Three sister in laws; Joyce Sheffield of Carpentersville Illinois, Patricia (Lendal) Diehl of Texas, Marge Sandman of Woodstock Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents a brother Kenneth Crowley, a sister Veronica Duffy.

A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday June 22, 2012 at 11:30 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Boscobel. Father Peter Auer officiating. Burial in the Boscobel Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday June 22, 2012 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Kendall Funeral Home in Boscobel.
