Lawrence M. Maly

Lawrence M. Maly, 84, of Ithaca, passed away peacefully at Pine Valley Healthcare, on Saturday, January 23, 2016. He was born November 10, 1931 in Richland County, the son of Theron and Nelly (Robinson) Maly. On April 12, 1951, he married Carolene Clason. Lawrence owned Maly Livestock Trucking, farmed and drove semi for different operators until his retirement.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carolene;

7 children: Betty (Ryland) Havlik of Richland Center, Bill (Donna Schuette) Maly of Loganville, Don (Cheryl) Maly of Lone Rock, Barbara (Gordon) Brockway of Lone Rock, JR (Jackie) Maly of Viroqua, Nancy (Clifford) Judson of Richland Center, Nellie (Chuck) Tyl of Richland Center, 11 Grandchildren; 9 Step-Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; 13 Step-Great-Grandchildren; his best friend Tippy; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Lowell, and a Great-Grandson Joey Wedor.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tom Coleman and Dale Sinnett officiating, with burial to follow in the Dayton Corners Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM.
