LaBahn Arena nearly complete
Badger hockey, swimming and basketball will benefit
MADISON, Wis. — The $34 million LaBahn Arena is nearly complete on the UW-Madison campus.
The new facility that will provide new locker rooms for the Badger men’s and women’s hockey teams, men’s basketball and swimming is on schedule to open Oct. 1.
It also features a 2,500 seat hockey arena that will host some Badger women’s hockey games and provide a full-time practice facility for both men’s and women’s hockey.
Matt Premo, the project manager from Findorff Construction, said some of the other new features UW teams will enjoy are video classrooms where teams can study game tape and additions to sports medicine and physical therapy areas.
