La Crosse man accused of posting nude photos of ex online
LA CROSSE, Wis. — A La Crosse man has been accused of stalking and threatening his ex-girlfriend as well as posting nude photos with her phone number and personal information to an online dating site.
The La Crosse Tribune reported that 30-year-old Silberio Pena-Wellner was charged Wednesday in La Crosse County Circuit Court with stalking, identity theft and two counts of posting a sexually explicit image without consent.
Court documents say the woman discovered her profile on the online dating site PlentyOfFish when she began receiving messages from strangers for sex.
Pena-Wellner told authorities his friends had created the dating profile but said the photos were his property and that he could do whatever he wanted with them.
Pena-Wellner is being held in the La Crosse County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
