Kayaker Rescued From Wisconsin River On Sunday

Prairie du Sac emergency crews saved a kayaker in the Wisconsin River on Sunday.

Officials with the Prairie du Sac Fire Department said the victim overturned at around 3 p.m. and began screaming for help.

Firefighters launched a rescue boat, but the victim, who isn’t being identified, was able to swim to the ambulance by Alice Graf Park and was taken to the hospital.

Fire officials said that they wouldn’t reveal the patient’s condition to protect medical confidentiality.

The Sauk Prairie Ambulance Service and the Sauk Prairie Police Department were also at the scene.
