The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the care shown by Kay’s husband, Phil, friends, and Dr. Amy Tevaawerk (for her expertise and compassion at UW Hospital). Also a very special thank you to Dr. Amy’s Staff Assistant, Steve Wolfe for his beautiful concern with combined humor. A sincere thank you also to Kathy Van Veldhuisen in Palliative Care at UW Hospital, and all who personally cared for Kay and her family at Agrace HospiceCare, praise goes out to each of you. Finally, a very grateful heart to Pastor Jeff and Amy. They are the finest in “spleagna”. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; lean not unto thine own understanding. In all the ways acknowledge him and he will direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6.
