Kaminsky wins 2015 John R. Wooden Award

Wisconsin basketball senior Frank Kaminsky was named the winner of the 2015 John R. Wooden Award on Friday morning.
The 6-foot-10 forward has now swept all significant player of the year awards. The John R. Wooden Award is determined by the votes of nearly 1,000 college basketball experts.
Duke’s Jahil Okafor finished second and Kentucky’s Willie Cauley-Stein was third.
Kaminsky averaged 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.5 blocks this season while leading the team to a Big Ten regular-season title, a Big Ten Tournament title and a second straight trip to the Final Four.
Wisconsin lost to Duke in the national championship game on Monday.
