Kaitlyn Jo “Kait” E. Maule

Kaitlyn Jo “Kait” E. Maule

Kaitlyn Jo “Kait” E. Maule was born April 10, 1993 in Denver, CO to Mary Jo (Mueller) Maule. Our most courageous and loving Kait found freedom and peace on June 1, 2012 at home surrounded by her beloved family.

Kait and her mom moved back to Dodgeville when she was three years old and spent the last 16 years surrounded by her close-knit family and friends. Kait was a spectacular human whose strength, poise and wisdom defined her. She touched and inspired everyone who knew her, or knew of her. Despite all odds, Kait graduated high school with high honors and was twice inducted into the National Honor Society. This remarkable young woman has works of art in museums, piloted a helicopter over the grand canyon and banged out her favorite Beatles tunes on her drum set. She taught everyone, including her many physicians, about the art of doctoring, about life, about love, and about being human. That’s Kaitie Bug…

Kait is survived by her mother, Mary Jo Maule; grandparents, Lois and Eldon Hird; her aunts and uncles, Cyndee and Dana Andrews; Jeffrey and Xiufen Mueller; Mike and Peggy Mueller; Bill and Susie Mueller; Sharon and Robin Mueller and John and Ronie Mueller; her cousins, Scott LeCoque; Nick and Becky Mueller; Jonathan Mueller and Nicole Mueller and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved Aunt Wendy Mueller; great grandparents, Josephine and C. Dale Gordon and grandparents, Karl and Emily Mueller.

A Celebration of Kait’s Life will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, 400 Doty Street, Mineral Point, WI with Pastor Dennis Weis officiating. A luncheon will follow at the church. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday after 10:00 A.M.
