Julie A. (LaPoint) Breitzman

Julie A. (LaPoint) Breitzman age 52, died on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at her home. She was born on September 14, 1960 in Eau Claire, WI to Jerry and Jacqueline (Youderian) LaPoint. Julie was married to James Breitzman on October 19, 1985 in Eau Claire. She was employed for 25 years by the Department of Military Affairs in Madison. Julie enjoyed scrapbooking, quilting, tennis, and figure skating. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Columbus.

Survivors include her husband, Jim of Columbus and daughter, Alexandra at home; parents, Jerry and Jackie LaPoint of Eau Claire; a sister, Janis (Joseph) Majerus of Shakopee MN; a brother, James (Kari) LaPoint of River Falls; mother-in-law, Diane Breitzman of Eau Claire; a sister-in-law, Julie Breitzman of Menomonie; brother-in-law, Paul Breitzman of Eau Claire; five nieces, Bailey LaPoint, Lexi LaPoint, Isabel Majerus, Rachel Majerus, Stephanie Breitzman; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Benjamin and Margaret Youderian and paternal grandparents, Edward and Eleanor LaPoint; her father-in-law, Gerald Breitzman.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, Columbus. Rev. Robert V. Moberg will officiate. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Columbus. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home, and from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Friday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Faith Lutheran Church, Columbus, or Hillside Hospice, Beaver Dam.
