Judy A. Bienfang

Judy A. Bienfang, 78, of Monona, passed away Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.

Judy was born on April 7, 1939 in Charleston, SC daughter of the late Earl and Margaret (McLeod) Bienfang.

She graduated in 1960 from Methodist School of Nursing. After 49 years in nursing, at both the former Methodist Hospital in Madison and Skaalen Retirement Services in Stoughton, Judy retired in 2009 at age 70. She was a mentor to all and was loved by her co-workers and patients. She was a blessing to all that knew her and will be forever missed.

Judy is survived by her nephew, Michael (Dianne) Brown of Tomahawk; niece, Judy Brown of Lake Mills; nephews, Jason and Derek Brown; cousins, Paul, John, Mary and Margaret (Buege) McLeod and great friends, Debbie Sauer and Cheryl Castillo. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joanne Brown.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Evergreen Cemetery, 1105 N. Main Street, Fort Atkinson with Pastor Chris Buckingham-Taylor officiating.

The Dunlap Memorial Home in Fort Atkinson is assisting the family.
