Judith Jacquelynn Triggs (Kimmerly)

Judith Jacquelynn “Judy” Triggs, age 77, passed away peacefully with her family be her side on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at her home.  She was born on June 19, 1938 in Madison, the daughter of George and Laura (Larson) Kimmerly.  Judy was united in marriage to Stanley E. Triggs in July 1957.  She enjoyed her years working at the family business, Triggs Bakery.  She also volunteered for Children’s Theater of Madison and the Arthritis Foundation.  Judy and Stanley loved bowling on a league together.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother, cherishing her time caring for her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, LeeAnn (David) Bouchard and Stephanie (Kennen) Triggs-Hawkins; 2 grandchildren, Tyler and Jacquelynn Day; step grandchildren, Nikia, Beverly and Kennen Jr. Hawkins; 7 step great-grandchildren; brothers, George “Bud”, Peter and Gary (Kay) Kimmerly; brother-in-law, Gerry Hooker and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant Triggs; son, Joseph; daughter, Mary Katherine and sisters, Joyce (Sammy) Gierlich and Sydney Hooker.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. in the Banquet Hall at Dream Lanes,13 Atlas Ct, Madison, WI 53714 .
