Judith C. Berg

JANESVILLE—Judith “Judy” C. Berg, age 69, of Janesville, died on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Agrace HospiceCare, Inc., Fitchburg, WI. She was born in Arcadia, WI on Dec. 31, 1942, the daughter of Ervin and Florence (George) Duellman and was raised on the family farm in Fountain City.

She married Frederick Berg in December of 1965. Judy had been employed by IKI Mfg. and Nunn Bush Shoe Co. in Edgerton as well as Gibbs Manufacturing in Janesville. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Janesville. She loved spending time with her family, traveling, shopping, and going out for meals with her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Lauri (Michael) Knapton of Janesville; her granddaughter, Kaitlyn who meant the world to her; brother, Gerald (Marilyn) Duellman of Winona, MN; 3 sisters: Mary (Ernie) Elizondo of Pine City, MN, Wynell (John) Pelowski of Kingman, AZ and Phyllis (LaVern) Sonsalla of Arcadia; former husband, Fred Berg of Janesville; 2 special family and friends, Brad Lutton and Andy Frelich; loving dog, Missy; as well as her many friends at Wesley Avenue Apartments; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother, Joseph; brother, Roger Duellman; and companion, Lamoine Oium.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Janesville with Rev. John Auby officiating. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Lasting Memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc. or St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Janesville.
