Judith Ann Hollenstein

JANESVILLE—Judith “Judy” Ann Hollenstein, age 75, of Janesville, died Wednesday, January 02, 2013, at her home. She was born in New Diggings, WI, on July 9, 1937, the daughter of Lawrence and Ila (Kirkpatrick) Symons and was a 1955 graduate of Darlington High School. Judy married George Hollenstein Jr. on Sept. 3, 1955, in Seymour Township, WI. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2004. A Janesville resident since 1966, she was in the custodial department at the Rock County Courthouse, had worked as a crossing guard, and also worked the election polls. Judy loved her family and friends and spent as much time with them as possible.

She is survived by her 5 children: Heidi Hollenstein Hanson of Monticello, Randall (Sue) Hollenstein of Janesville, Tina (Jeff) Kempfer of New Glarus, Jodie (Paul) Christians and Kirk Hollenstein both of Beloit; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a sister, Linda Stott of Darlington; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
