Judith A. Zalesky

Judith “Judy” A. Zalesky, age 70, of Janesville, died on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center. She was born in Janesville on Nov. 14, 1942, the daughter of Reino and Dorothy (Haggerty) Maki. She married Ervin F. Zalesky in Janesville on Aug. 3, 1968, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 1995. Judy had been employed by Blackhawk Credit Union for a number of years before her retirement in 1998. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Amy (Dan) De Greef of Neenah; 3 grandchildren: Lexi, Trent and Noah; mother, Dorothy (Clifford) Rogers of Janesville; 4 siblings: Mary (Joe) Daniel of Fayetteville, GA, Rae (Bob) Schirmer of Little River, SC, Ginger (John) Warrix of Reynoldsburg, OH and Jeff (Carmen) Rogers of Libertyville, IL; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially special neighbors and friends, Mary Feldman and Tom and Lupe Feldman. She was preceded in death by her father; husband; and stepmother, Bessie Maki.

A Private family service will be held on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, with Rev. Bond Haldeman officiating. Entombment will be in Milton Lawns Mausoleum. Lasting Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
