Joyce Ingham Jackson

Joyce Jackson, the oldest of three children to Joseph and Ermyntrude Ingham, died quietly at her home in Janesville on Easter Sunday April 8, 2012, after a long battle with declining health. She was quickly tended to by her devoted husband of 47 years, Robert. Originally from Bradford England, Joyce emigrated to the States in 1973 following her husbands employment opportunities. Eventually the couple began a small textile business that allowed them a comfortable life together. In years past Joyce enjoyed traveling overseas to visit family, downhill skiing in the Rocky Mountains and locally at the Oak Ridge Ski Club, curling at the Blackhawk Curling Club, and handmade craft projects. Joyce leaves behind three sons, Glenn, Lee, Ross and seven grandchildren. In keeping with her English heritage the family will tend to her funeral arrangements in private. Mother we will miss you.
