Joseph Richard Todd

Joseph Richard Todd, age 81, of Oakdale, Wisconsin passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was born on October 29, 1930 to Frank Todd and Fern (Salter) Todd in Madison, Wisconsin.

Joseph was united in marriage to Darlene Zoha on June 7, 1952. He taught in several schools for 30 years including Random Lake, Spring Green, and Platteville, Wisconsin. He was also a substitute teacher at Holcombe, Gilman, Sheldon, and Tony Wisconsin. He served as Town Chairman for Gilman Township, Wisconsin while living there. He enjoyed woodworking, tractors, and farming.

Joseph is survived by: his wife: Darlene (Zoha) Todd of Oakdale, Sisters: Sally (Todd) Kuykendall of Arizona, Catherine (Todd) Dellabella of Florida, Sister-in-Law Eleanor Todd of Florida, Children: Terry (Donna) Todd of Batavia, IL, Richard (Karen) Todd of Coon Valley, Jerry Todd of Nekoosa, 6 Grandchildren: Tamara (Nick) Chewning of McKinney, TX, Gavin Todd of Batavia, IL, Jonathan Todd of Oshkosh, WI, David Todd of Batavia, IL., Judy Todd of Coon Valley, and Joyce Todd of Coon Valley, 2 Great grandchildren: Hanna and Oliver Chewning many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Fern (Salter) Todd, brothers: Russell, and James Todd and daughter: Judy Todd.

Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel in Richland Center on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM.

Burial will be held in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
