John M. Bennett
Madison – John M. Bennett, age 70, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 24, 2013. He was born on February 11, 1942 in Madison, the son of Harris and Hazel (Schlough) Bennett.
He married Ellen K. Esch on April 4, 1964. They celebrated 48 years together.
John lived life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife Ellen; children Lisa E. Steinhoff (Bennett) and Mike (Janet) Bennett; grandchildren, Bayley (Barry) Blankenberg, Kendall, Jack and Cole Steinhoff and Jacob and Brady Bennett; step-mother, Leona Bennett; brother Bruce (Carol) Bennett; their sons Dan and Brett and their families. John is further survived by extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, at 12:00 Noon with Father Aaron Esch officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
