John Kraus, 76, of Muscoda, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at his home.

He was born October 23, 1939 the son of Martin and Nellie (McCartney) Kraus. He served in the US Army Reserve for 6 years. John was a physical education teacher in the Riverdale School District for 29 years. He was an avid duck hunter, going for 50 years. John loved sports especially the UW Badgers Basketball and Riverdale sports teams.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home. Memorials in John’s name may be directed to the John Kraus Scholarship Fund. The Pratt Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting with the arrangements for John Kraus.
