Jim L Schafer

Jim L. Schafer, 60, of Blue River died Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Boscobel Area Healthcare. He was born September 10, 1951 in Milwaukee the son of Thomas and Henrietta (Brazee) Schafer. On January 22, 1971 Jim married Debra Stephenson in Madison. Jim was a lifelong mechanic worked at L&M Salvage and SWAT. Jim loved to paintball, playing Playstation II, camping and cook out for his family.
Jim is survived by his wife Debra of Blue River, three children, Jason (Holly) Schafer of Muscoda, Kim (Bob) Roen of Blue River, Cody (Michelle) Schafer of Fennimore, 2 grandchildren, Autumn and David, 3 step-grandchildren, step-father Louis Brazee of Lomira, step-brothers and sisters, David (Pam) Brazee of Lomira, Karen Brazee, Dean (Gail) Brazee, Joy Brazee, all of Milwaukee, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Thomas Markus, and Bob Markus.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home in Muscoda. Friends may call at the Godager Pratt Funeral Home on Saturday, July 7, 2012 from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 2:00 PM.
