Jerome Steinhorst

Jerome “Jerry” Steinhorst, age 49 died Sunday, April 15, 2012 at his home.

He was born in Baraboo on February 10, 1963, the son of Ron Steinhorst and Eldora “Ellie” Savage.

Jerry was employed by Palmer Johnson Power Systems in Sun Prairie. He enjoyed hunting, stock car racing, building engines and having a great time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his father, Ron Steinhorst, mother; Ellie (Roger) Maynard, a son, Josh (Anna), his significant other, Dawne Lemke, a daughter, Austin Lemke, a grandson, Sylas, a brother, Greg (Jan) Steinhorst, niece, Nichole (Walter) Clark, great nephew, Conner Clark, nephews, Nathen (Chelsie) Steinhorst and Brennan Steinhorst, his grandmother, Marie Savage, two step-sisters, Theresa Maynard and Ginger Clark, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns Lutheran Church, Prairie du Sac, WI. Friends may call one hour prior to service.
