Jefferson “Jeff” Kelsey

Jefferson “Jeff” Kelsey, Jr. age 81 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin passed away peacefully Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the Golden Living Center in Wisconsin Dells.
A private family service was held.
Jeff was born March 3, 1935 in Oxford, Wisconsin the son of Jefferson and Ella (Bowen) Kelsey. In March of 1954 he married Janet Woodington in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He had worked at American Motors in Kenosha, Wisconsin for 31 years and retired in 1989. With his wife they moved to the Wisconsin Dells area where he pursued the life of gentleman farmer by caring for animals. He was a sportsman and enjoyed the outdoors and was fond of turkey hunting and fishing. He liked sporting events and followed the Wisconsin Badgers. Jeff loved being with his family especially the grandchildren and great grandchildren. By his family and friends he was lovingly referred to and called “father” and he had a great smile to top it off.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Janet; sons, Kenny (JoLynn) of Mt. Pleasant, Wisconsin and Todd of Elroy, Wisconsin; daughters, Debbie (Earl) Burdick of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin and Bonnie Kelsey of Waterford, Wisconsin; brothers, Louis (Mona) Kelsey of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Larry (Elizabeth) Kelsey of Foley, Alabama; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Robin; brothers, Donald and sisters, Eva Petersen and Agnes Rohrer and a great granddaughter.
The family also would like to offer special thanks to the staff of the Golden Living Center for the special care for Jeff.
