Jean Marie Bisiorek

Jean (Jeannie) Marie Bisiorek, age 58, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday January 23rd, 2016. Jean was born on March 28th, 1957, in Baraboo, Wisconsin to Alden (Jim) and Edith (Marie) Potter. She grew up in Janesville and Hanover and graduated from Parkview High School in 1975 where she was a star athlete in track and gymnastics. She married Robert (Bob) Bisiorek on April 3rd, 1987, in Las Vegas. They had two children and recently renewed their vows in March 2015, at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Janesville. Jean was a loving and caring mother that in her words “would not let much slide” and when she was asked, what her job was would always respond with domestic engineer. She always put her family and friends needs above her own. She loved to sew, knit, quilt, and crochet. She was always on the lookout for a good deal and loved auctions as well as selling on eBay and the family’s annual garage sale. Her main passion was collecting records. She also loved playing cards, bowling, and gambling, especially with family.
Jean is survived by her husband, Bob; children, Martin and Marie; parents, Jim and Marie Potter; siblings, James Potter (Virginia), Jan Potter (Gloria), Terrie Zimmerman (Jeff), Kellie Kaderly (Ron), and Jay Potter; along with many nieces, nephews, and relatives that loved her dearly.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 28, 2016, at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY with Msgr. Donn Heiar officiating.
