Janice Belsky

Janice Belsky, age 91, of Whitewater and formerly of Janesville, died on Monday, March 7, 2016, at Fairhaven-Hearthstone Nursing Home, Whitewater. She was born in Ontario, WI on Aug. 14, 1924, the daughter of Earl T. and Linda (Schmidt) Brey. She graduated from Ontario High School, and retired from General Motors. Janice married John Belsky in Mauston, WI on Dec. 10, 1971.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44years, John Belsky; her 5 children: Linda Kohn of Richland Center, Ronald Parish of Tomah, Danny (Pam Jones) Parish of Janesville, Douglas (Kathy) Parish of Janesville and Janet (David) Schlicht of Mauston; 11 grandchildren: Corri, Kelly and Kristi Kohn, Jeffrey (Sara) Parish, Bryan Parish, Lisa (James) Stoikes, Nicole (Tim) Voigtman, Travis (Lisa) Parish, Tia (James) Martinez, Jaclyn (Brooks) Schommer and Scott (Amy Nicholson) Schlicht; 12 great grandchildren: Alex, Austin, Treyton, Adeline, Rhianna, Emma, Dominic, Kartyr, Greyson, Fox, Chloe, and Luciana; sister, Carol (Jay) Buswell of Janesville; sister-in-law, Nancy Brey; step-brother, Jim (Jeannie) Brey; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Tom and Quetta Belsky and Joe and Joanne Belsky; many nieces, nephews, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Perle Brey; son-in-law, Coy Kohn; daughter-in-law, Carol Parish; granddaughter, Lori Kohn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and Marvin Truesdill and Clea and Norman Surbeck; brother, Sonny; and sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and John Fleming.
A memorial gathering will be held at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016.
