Janesville police look for dog involved in biting incident

Janesville police are looking for help identifying the owner of a dog that bit a man in the area of Monterey Dam on Thursday night.
The brown, boxer-type dog reportedly bit a man while he was walking his great Dane under the railroad trestle on the north side of the river around 7 p.m., officials said.
The great Dane chased the boxer away after it bit the man, according to a news alert. The boxer was not on a leash and the owner is unknown.
Police ask anyone with information about the dog or the owner to call 608-755-3100 or 608-757-2244.
