Janesville police investigating possibility of two shooters after shell casings found overnight

Shots fired near Academy Street, W. Vanburen

JANESVILLE, Wisconsin — Janesville police say multiple shots were fired near South Academy and West Vanburen streets early Sunday morning.

Around 3:45 a.m., officers were called to that area and found numerous shell casings. They say early indications support the likelihood of two shooters.
