Janesville gas station robbed
A Janesville gas station was the target of a robber early Tuesday morning, according to a release from Janesville police.
Officers were called to 5 Points Gas Station at 600 W. Milwaukee St. at 1 a.m. The clerk told police the robber didn’t display any weapons, but made the clerk believe he had one.
The robber was given an undisclosed amount of cash and ran east on West Milwaukee Street toward North Academy Street.
The robber is described as white, 5 feet 10 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a gray hooded zip-up sweatshirt, blue jeans, black cloth gloves, a white bandanna over his forehead area and black bandanna over his mouth and a dark-colored draw-string style nylon backpack.
