Jacob C. Vorlander
LODI-Jacob C. Vorlander, age 37, left us unexpectedly on Monday, January 7, 2013. Jacob entered this world on April 18, 1975 and graduated from Lodi High School in 1993.
He will be missed more than we could have ever imagined by those who loved him.
He is survived by his mom, Audrey (Stephen) McCubbin and his dad, Geoffrey (Jody) Vorlander; siblings, Jillian (Jeff) Gort, Carl Vorlander and Rachel Vorlander.
He is further survived by “Nana”, Joan Vorlander and grandmothers, Dorothy Molony and Joyce McCubbin and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He left us to join his brother, Tobin Vorlander, “Poppa”, Carl Vorlander and grandfathers, Thomas Molony and Eugene McCubbin.
A celebration of Jacob’s life will be held at HAMRE GUNDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 157 S. Main St., Lodi on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a memorial at 7:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorials to Porchlight in Madison, the Humane Society or the Lodi Library.
Our lives are shaped as much by those who leave us as they are by those who stay. We will love and miss you forever Jacob.
