Itsuko Yonash

Itsuko M. Yonash, age 74, of rural Boscobel, died on Sunday, April 8, 2012 surrounded by her family. She was born in Japan on March 5, 1938. She met her future husband who was serving in the United States Navy, and she married Ralph Yonash in Japan on April 19, 1956. They moved to the United States and raised their family together. When not farming together or when Ralph was not driving bus for the Riverdale Schools, which he did for 35 years, they enjoyed fishing together, especially on Sunday afternoons. In more recent years, Itsuko and Ralph enjoyed playing bingo locally and taking trips to Vegas to play as well. She was also an accomplished seamstress.

Itsuko was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Lila Jean at birth, and by several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services are pending with the Godager Pratt Funeral Home of Muscoda.
