Irene A. Reed

Madison-Irene A. Reed, age 94, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013. Irene was born on March 9, 1919 in Madison to Joseph and Margaret Dueppen. She was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army, Madison Corps. Where she participated in bell ringing until her mid 80’s and sat on several committees up until the time of her death.

She is survived by her God-son David (Melissa) Hornung, and great-God-daughter Markie.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wilbert Raymond “Ray” Reed; and her sister Josephine Dueppen.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at the Triangle Community Apartments, 245 S. Park Street in Madison at 12:00 noon. This will be an informal gathering, and burial will be held at a later date.
