Injured man rescued from La Crosse bluff
The La Crosse Fire Department rescued a man from Grandad Bluff Sunday night.
According to a press release from the department, the man was injured in a fall on the bluff.
The fire department’s Technical Rescue Team set up a slope evacuation rope rescue system to bring the injured man up the bluff and to the trail.
The rescue operation took about an hour.
The man’s name isn’t being released at this time. The extent of his injuries isn’t known.
