Incoming Badgers basketball player makes first U18 team cut

MADISON, Wis. — Incoming Badgers basketball player Sam Dekker has made the first cut for the United States U18 basketball team.

Dekker is one of 14 finalists who will continue to train in Colorado, hoping to make the final 12-man roster for the national men’s junior team.

The team will play in the French International Basketball Federation Americas Tournament in Brazil later this month.
