In the 608: Madison Police host chili cook-off, Josh judges

MADISON, Wis. – The Madison Police Department held its first chili cook-off event this week, and it was all for a good cause.

News 3 Now This Morning’s Josh Spreiter was asked to judge along with MPD Chief Barnes, MFD Chief Carbon and Dr. Ruben Anthony of the Urban League of Greater Madison.

MPD employees had the opportunity to buy a bowl of chili or samples. Money raised will be donated to the families of four MPD officers and recently retired officers who passed.
