‘I’ll do anything for this team’: Former Badgers WR Danny Davis in attendance at Packers’ rookie minicamp

GREEN BAY, Wis. — The Green Bay Packers kicked off rookie minicamp Friday, and among the 51 players vying for a roster spot is a former Badgers wide receiver.

Danny Davis is one of 14 undrafted free agents the Packers signed after the draft.

During the first day of camp, Davis expressed his gratitude for the opportunity but knows nothing is guaranteed.

“This is my dream, and this is one thing that I’ve wanted to do my whole life, so I’m thankful but at the same time I know that I can’t just keep thinking about that,” he said. “I’ve got to continue to move forward and continue to… I’ll do anything. Special teams, I’ll get on there and make a tackle, I’ll do anything for this team and anything to make the team, so I’m looking forward to it and just show(ing) everybody what I can do.”
