Ida Pauline Jason

JANESVILLE— Ida “Pauline” Jason, age 89, of Janesville, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Cedar Crest. She was born on Nov. 30, 1922, in Wickliffe, KY, the daughter of Arch and Effie (Arrington) Arp. Pauline married John J. Jason in June of 1946 in Detroit, MI. Pauline enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge and Poker, was a member of the Janesville Senior Center but most of all loved her family.

She is survived by 2 sons, John Allen (Mel) Jason of Durango, CO and Christopher (Pamela) Jason of Janesville; 8 grandchildren; a granddaughter, Nicole Jason, AZAN in the U.S. Navy whom she lovingly helped raise and Thad, Ben, Tess, Jordan, Mollie, Jessie and Jonah Jason; and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; a son, Scott Jason; brothers and sisters all of whom she was looking forward to being reunited with.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Chapel at Cedar Crest. SCHNEIDER APFEL SCHNEIDER & SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY is assisting the family.
