Want a cuppa joe? Kwik Trip has the joe — you bring the cup

LA CROSSE (WKBT) — Another shortage is hitting a Wisconsin staple: coffee cups.

Kwik Trip, headquartered in La Crosse, sent out a request for patrons to bring their own coffee cups if possible due to a shortage of paper cups.

The company published a Facebook post saying people can get any size refill for 99 cents while the stores are struggling to get paper cups in.

“Here’s the thing: due to a few ships stuck at sea, we’re out of coffee cups. (Actually, a gas station that shall not be named stole them… I wish I was kidding.) Long story short, we would love for you to Bring Your Own Cup if possible. Good news? You can temporarily get any size refill for just 99¢,” the post said.
