Hildegard H. Prideaux

Hildegard H. Prideaux, age 92, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at Oakwood Village West. She was born the daughter of Konrad and Klara (Viehweger) Heinrich June 27, 1919 in Chemnitz, Germany.

Hildee became a citizen of the United States May 15, 1934. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin in 1947. Hildee was united in marriage to John “Jack” William Prideaux on March 22, 1947 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension in Milwuakee. Hildegard and Jack were known volunteers. They gave of their time and talents to many organizations and people in the Madison area. Hildee was very involved and instrumental in activities at Oakwood West. She shared 55 years with her beloved Jack who passed away in 2002.

She is survived by cousins, and many dear friends whose lives she touched over the years.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am at OAKWOOD WEST RESURRECTION CHAPEL Saturday August 4, 2012. Visitation will take place from 10:30 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in Hildegard’s name to Oakwood Lutheran Homes, or the Dane County Humane Society.
