Highway 151 reopens near Blue Mounds after semi vs. car crash

BLUE MOUNDS, Wis. — U.S. Highway 151 has reopened in both directions at County Highway F near Blue Mounds Friday evening after a semitruck versus car crash earlier Friday afternoon, officials tell News 3.

A Dane County dispatcher said a call came into the 911 center at 3:33 p.m. reporting the crash. One person was extricated from the car and suffered unknown injuries, the dispatcher said.

Barneveld and Mount Horeb fire and EMS crews responded to the crash, the dispatcher said.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation said the road reopened at 5:20 p.m., nearly two hours after the crash.
