Helen E. Jacobson

Helen E. Jacobson, 88, of Jefferson, formerly of Fort Atkinson, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. Helen was born on November 24, 1928 in Watertown, daughter of the late Walter and Eleanor (Waleske) Rupprecht. She married LeRoy Jacobson in Jefferson on April 7, 1947. He passed away on March 12, 1999.

Helen is survived by her sons, Charles (Alice) Jacobson of Fort Atkinson and Thomas (Cindy Sue) Jacobson of Davenport, IA; grandchildren, Jodi (Doug) Wickham of Waunakee and Jason (Mary) Jacobson of Fort Atkinson; great grandchildren, Nathan, Alicia and Isabelle Wickham and Justin and Erica Jacobson; siblings, Sister Rosemary Celestine of St. Francis, William (Marge) of Jefferson, Joseph (Donna) of Monroe, Margaret (Herbert, deceased) Wendt of Jefferson, Catherine (Robert, deceased) Griffin of Jefferson, Lawrence (Mary) of Jefferson, Raymond (Cheryl) of Jefferson and Robert (Nancy) of Jefferson and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her sister Mary Rupprecht at birth.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon on Monday, June 5, 2017 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 10:30 a.m. until time of service. A rosary service will begin at 10:15 a.m.

Following the Mass, a reception will be held in the school lunchroom.
