Health Officials: Not Too Late To Get Flu Shot

The flu season has yet to hit its peak around the country and in this area.

Health officials said flu cases are now sporadic and the mild winter weather is helping to cut down on the illness.

However, they still advise those who didn’t get vaccinated to do so.

“It gives us opporunity to get shots and most people haven’t. Most places have it, plenty of vaccine, and so they need to call their doctor, or call public health and get in to one our clinics,” said Cheryl Robinson, of Public Health Madison & Dane County.
