Harold Kreitz

MIDDLETON-Harold W. Kreitz, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at his home. He was born on March 21, 1930 in Wausau, the son of Henry and Viola (Raspel) Kreitz. Harold was united in marriage to Rita Remmers on April 11, 1981 in Madison. He was an avid sportsman who loved biking, canoeing and sailing and was a remarkable model train enthusiast.

Harold is survived by his wife, Rita; a sister Lenore (James) Schilling; two nephews, Steven (Vickie) Schilling, their children, Stephanie and Jeremy and David (Amy) Schilling and their children Natalie and Peter. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON WEST FUNERAL & CREMATION CARE, 7435 University Ave., Middleton at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau at a later date. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
