Handguns taken during home burglary

Burglars took four handguns and other items from a Putnam Road home over the weekend.

The 53-year-old resident told police he was gone over the weekend and returned Monday to find his home burglarized.

Police said there was no sign of forced entry. The man said he might have forgotten to lock a door.
