Hackworthy leads Edgewood to Shootout title

VERONA — Tess Hackworthy shot 68 to take medalist honors and lead Edgewood to the team win at the Morgan Stanley Shootout girls golf tournament at University Ridge in Verona Wednesday.

Edgewood won the team event with a total of 320. Homestead was second at 324 while Verona finished third with 328.

Verona’s Jessica Reinecke finished second behind Hackworthy with 70 and Edgewood’s Caroline Lake was third with a 72.
