Guns, ammo stolen from Green County home, sheriff says

BROWNTOWN, Wis. — Officials are investigating a theft of guns and ammunition from a Green County home Wednesday night, according to a news release.
The Green County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to a report of a burglary at 7:57 p.m in the 300 block of East Sought Street in the village of Browntown.
Several firearms and various types of ammunition were taken sometime around 1 a.m., according to the release. Anyone with information on the burglary is asked to contact the Green County Sheriff’s Office or submit information via the county Crime Stoppers website .
