Gun pointed at driver during road rage incident, deputies say

A gun was pointed at a driver Sunday during a road rage incident, according to a release from the Iowa County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called at 5 p.m. to Muscoda on a report of a road rage incident that occurred on Highway 80-133 between Avoca and Muscoda. Both vehicles were stopped in Muscoda.

Deputies said Derrick Schuman, 51, of Blue River, pointed a gun at the driver of another vehicle. The gun was recovered at the scene of the stop.

Schuman was arrested on suspicion of endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.
