Governor’s Easter Egg Hunt held Saturday
Event had been canceled due to Jakubowski search
MAPLE BLUFF, Wis. — After originally being canceled due to a nationwide manhunt for a Janesville fugitive, Gov. Scott Walker hosted the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Executive Residence in Maple Bluff Saturday morning.
Dozens of people headed out to the event, encouraged by temperatures breaking 70 degrees.
Due to security concerns relating to the search for Joseph Jakubowski, the event had been canceled Thursday . After he was taken into custody Friday morning, the event was reinstated .
