Go Dana, Go! News 3 Now Meteorologist becomes Ironwoman
MADISON, Wis. — After two years of training, News 3 Now’s Dana Fulton joined thousands of athletes on Sunday to compete in her first IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon.
Fulton was cheered on by husband Jared and proud parents Kirk and Melissa, who made the three-hour drive from Illinois for her big day.
“She’s always been really goal-oriented so, she said she’s going to do something it’s like yeah I believe you,” said Jared.
Fulton’s race included more than a mile of swimming, 56 miles of biking, and a half marathon.
