Giannis earns Player of the Month honors

Milwaukee — Another month, another honor for Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo. Thursday he was been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Month for March/April. It’s the fourth time Giannis has won the award this season.
Antetokounmpo averaged 30.0 points, 12.2 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.8 blocked shots per game in March and April. The Bucks were 12-4 in games that he played,
Overall this season, Antetokounmpo averaged career-highs in points (27.7, 3rd in the NBA), rebounds (12.5, 6th in the NBA) and assists (5.9) per game, while shooting a franchise record 57.8 percent from the field.
The Bucks will face the Pistons in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Game one of the best-of-seven series tips off Sunday at 6 P.M. in Milwaukee.
