Gernith Louise Streu, age 80 of Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin died Friday, May 18, 2012 at University Hospital-Madison in Madison, Wisconsin.
Memorial funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at the United Presbyterian Church in Wisconsin Dells with Reverend Steven Keller officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon.
Gernith was born June 3, 1931 in Lapeer, Michigan the daughter of Leland and Addie (Harrington) Taylor. She married her husband of 57 years on April 30, 1955 in Lapeer, MI. She enjoyed reading, loved to golf and was very involved with her church.
Gernith is survived by her husband, Donald; sons, Roger Streu (Tom Heintzelman) of Springfield, IL, Stephen Streu of Leesburg, VA and Bryan (Karen) Streu of Arlington Hieghts, IL; brother, David (Debra) Taylor of North Carolina and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Ronald and sister, Yvonne.
