Geraldine M. Shultz

MADISON – Geraldine M. Shultz, age 90, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Oct. 7, 2022, at SSM St. Clare Hospice House. She was born on Sept. 25, 1932, in Linden, Wis., the daughter of Emil Bailey and Leona (Adkins) Bailey.

Geraldine graduated from Central High School. Prior to retirement, she worked in the Cash Handling Department at American Family Insurance. In her free time, Geraldine enjoyed making trips to the casino and going shopping, and she was a great cook! She was very involved with her neighbors and like to socialize at their public events. Geraldine loved to watch wrestling and knew each wrestler by their name.

Geraldine is survived by her sons, Jack (Pam) Harrington, Jeff Harrington, Jerald (Annette) Harrington and Daniel (friend, Kathy) Kratochwill; daughters, Dawn Shultz and Darlene (Scott) Anderson; stepson, Douglas Shultz; stepdaughter, Debbie (Ray) Wendlandt; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters, Betty Voigt and Jean (Greg) Markgraf. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Shultz and her parents; brother-in-law Tom Voigt.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022, Burial will be held at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
