Gerald Reineking

Gerald Reineking, 88, of Richland Center, died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Schmitt Woodland Hills.

He was born June 5, 1923 in Ashton, Illinois the son of Henry and Effie (Arnold) Reineking. Gerald farmed in Illinois and later in Wisconsin in the Sabin Area. He and his wife Berniece drove bus for the Richland Center School District for several years. Gerald played the banjo.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Berniece of Richland Center, sister, Marian Sanford of Viroqua, step-children, Garth (Madonna) Daly of Wilmington, Illinois, Sydney (Kathy) Daly of Olalla, Washington, A. Ardell (Roger) Hodas of Madison, step-daughter-in-law, Barbara Daly of Reedsburg, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, his nieces and nephews, Carol (Bill) Oliver of Viola, Robert (Iris) Sanford of Hayward, Sherril (Marvin) Mascher of Clarinda, Iowa, Serena (Dave) Salisburg of Richland Center, other relatives, and friends.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Effie Reineking, brother Russell Reineking, brother-in-law Robert Sanford, step-son Maramon (Pat) Daly.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Pratt Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Light House Cemetery in Dixon, IL on Monday, April 16, 2012. Friends may call at the Pratt Memorial Chapel on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at 4:00 PM.
